Traveler Series Watercolor Package
Regular price $163.95Super Light and Compact – Just add paint and your adventure awaits.
Whether you are flying off to a workshop in Europe, or hiking the trails on a solo adventure, you can now bring your studio with you. Don’t let its light weight fool you though, this set up is rugged, sets up in minutes, and gives you a secure work platform.
The thoughtful design features an 8-hole retractable brush holder sized to hold the most popular watercolor brushes. Included are a built-in water pail hook, a collapsible water cup and travel palette. When not being used outdoors, it converts to a table easel by removing the quick release plate and then screwing in the included table leg, held by a magnetic catch on the back. The easel connects easily to a standard camera mount tripod using a quick release. There is also a palette shelf which simply slips onto the legs of our tripod.
The Traveler Series is designed to take your watercolor studio into the field — everything is designed to fit compactly within the backpack so it can fit under the seat on an airplane or in the overhead compartment. Say bye-bye to those extra baggage fees and hello to Happy Painting.

- Start with the tripod
- Using the fliplocks extend the legs of the tripod to your desired height
- Once extended lock the legs into place with the fliplocks
- Next, take the black easel and look on the back for the quick release plate that is already screwed into the square block (don't unscrew or remove this plate)
- Then, look at the top of the tripod and locate the pan head that this plate fits into
- Pull down the black lever on the left side of this pan head and insert the quick release plate
- Push the lever back up into place to secure the easel to the tripod
- Next, take the tripod tray and slip it onto the legs of the tripod
- Lay the palette on the tray and insert the water cup in the hole
- Add your canvas, brushes and paints and ENJOY!
NOTE: To use the easel on a table top surface:
- Remove the easel from the tripod.
- Unscrew the quick release plate on the back of the easel and put it into the pan head of the tripod for safe keeping.
- Detach the table leg from the magnet on the back of the easel. (The table leg looks like a long screw with a black cap on the end.)
- Screw the table leg into the block on the back of the easel.
- Enjoy your table top easel!
